ABOUT MIDTOWN

While the term midtown is generally defined as the middle section of a city, Kansas City, MO marks our Midtown's official borders from 31st to 55th streets from north to south, and from State Line Road to The Paseo for its east-west outline. That contains around 7 square miles.

We believe all Kansas Citians can agree that the heart of Midtown is Westport, and that 39th Street is its main artery. For that reason, Westport, Volker, Roanoke, Valentine, Southmoreland, Coleman Highlands, and Rockhill are the focus of Midtown in our opinion!

Famous landmarks in the area include The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Gillham Park, and Westport itself.

Homes in the area offer a variety of styles, sizes, and price ranges, making urban midtown living available to all! Delight in historic craftsman, shirtwaist and dutch colonials—some over 100 years old with hospitable front porches and detailed architecture of days gone by, or search for modern condos and lofts.
