Developer 36W Partners LLC is building eight luxury row homes at 36th and Walnut streets. The townhomes fill a vacant lot that once housed the century-old Westminster Congregational Church, which later became Unruh Furniture before it partially collapsed and was demolished.

PBS Flatland – Mac Wins Key Support for Big Apartment Plan at Main and Armour
Mac Properties’ ambitious plan for a 10-story apartment and retail complex at Main and Armour received crucial support Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 from a City Council committee, one year after its initial proposal for the site was rejected. In a unanimous vote, the Council Neighborhood Planning and Development Committee endorsed what’s now a 300-unit project with retail on the ground floor next to a planned streetcar stop.

Construction is moving ahead on the future Westminster Reserve townhomes, off Walnut Street and East 36th Street, which will add eight luxury homes on what became a vacant lot after the Westminster Congregational Church was torn down in 2021.
